Orientation Paato 1!

I didn't write much yesterday because i was so tired but i arrived safely enough and the flight from Frankfort to Japan was not very packed so i got a whole row to myself to sleep in. and because it was a long flight and wait at the airport for the group to arrive (i got there at 8:35 in the morning and group pick up was at 6:00 pm)i am now a third of the way in my knitting project.

So today was our orientation and first real day here in Japan. it was also the start of interviews for host stay, which i hope to get in even though there are only 12 families and 28 applicants. though is shortened as the day went on. My interview is at 3:30 on monday so wish me luck.

it also looks like we brought Irene with use though she changes her name to Typhoon Irene hoping we wouldn't recognize her. Another thing we did today was talk with som highschool students in english and that was fun.

Not much else going on. i am going Shopping tomorrow and have signed up for a samarai kembo class on October 3rd at 3:30 so that should be interesting!
